Kayaking, Swimming and Snacking! This was the second tour that my group of 7 booked with Dubrovnik Active Holidays. It was a fantastic half day! Our Guide, Mislav, guided us through the Adriatic with our kayaks to enjoy the views of the land by way of sea! Masks were also provided and we enjoyed swimming and watching the fish below! The snack and wine were the icing on the cake! A great day! Highly recommend! It was a very fun kayaking adventure - particularly with our guide!

Amazing Tour with Marin A beautiful way to see Dubrovnik and Lokrum! Marin was an excellent guide and provided us history along the way while taking fantastic photos. Phenomenal kayak trip! Amazing kayak trip with guide, Milo! FYI - the trip launches from the Sveti Jakov Beach and the easiest way to get there is using Uber. Milo shared a lot of information about history and things to do (thank you for the recommendation to visit Lokrum Island)! He was funny and so easy to work with. I think everyone in our group had kayaked before but he gave clear instructions, took us to caves for swimming and rock jumping and called out the sites as we went by. Milo was awesome! Due to winds, I had to reschedule my tour by a couple of days and the communication with the owner, Damir, was exceptional. If you are considering a kayak tour when in Dubrovnik, I highly recommend this company!
Croatia at its best Marin was excellent and made us feel like his only worry was our happiness! Whether it be exploring, or cliff jumping, it felt as if he had no place to be but with us - no agenda but our pleasure and enjoyment. We were lucky enough to have the friendly and awesome guide Marin, and also we’re the only ones booked, so it was a private tour! Marin shared his knowledge and passion of Dubrovnik and Croatia with us through sharing with us history stories. He was an awesome guide, with the bonus of being a Liverpool fan. Highly highly recommend this company, as there are only 8 available spots, so the group is super small! We saw others that had 10+. Also recommend going in the morning to beat the heat and crowds.

Fabulous experience Absolutely the best way to experience the surrounding area of Dubrovnik, led by very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible guides, Miren and Milo’s. We thought Cavet charming, the shell museum and docent so interesting, wine tasting was perfect as well the monastery and they added a stop at our request. Our lunch over the river and under the bridge is a lifetime memory! We highly recommend this tour, and Miren and mos!
Dubrovnik Kayaking Tour We have the most amazing time on this trip, we had a mad dash to find the beach as we were staying in Lapad, we arrived a bit later than we should, but Milo was absolutely fine about it. We were also very pleasantly surprised to see we were the only 2 on the tour, an unexpected positive. Once we were acquainted Milo showed us the ropes and gave us a place to store any valuables while we were on board. We set off from Sveti Jakov Beach to Betina Cave, where we stopped to snorkle with the fish. Then on to the Old City, where Milo was very informative and gave us a history lesson, he answered all of our questions. We then kayaked to another Cave where we have another chance to snorkel and explore. Each time we stopped and even mid action Milo took photos of us and gave us time to explore, we never once felt rushed or out of our depths. After we headed back to the beach, we sat down with Milo for a light snack and a cold beer, where we chatted some more. We were really unsure which tour to book, but we are so happy we chose this one. If you are looking for a kind, attentive, informative guide Milo is the man.
An unforgettable morning in and around Dubrovnik My wife and I had a beautiful private tour around Lakrum Island in Dubrovnik today. Our tour guide was Marin Mataga who was very friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant. Lunch at the island was terrific, and the scenery was out of this world. We look forward to revisiting Dubrovnik to enjoy other sites around this beautiful city.

Unforgettable way to experience Dubrovnik! Wonderful guided tour of the bay around Dubrovnik and Lokrum Island. The guide, Milo, was very chill and yet attentive to creating an experience tailored to my interests and fitness level. Learned a bunch about the history of Dubrovnik and Lokrum from the water, and saw beautiful caves accessible only by kayak. At the end, the best surprise was wine and delicious octopus app at a seaside bar. Truly a memorable evening just being present in beautiful Croatia! Highly recommended.
Top Notch Personal Kayak Tour in Dubrovnik Kayaking is a MUST while you are in Dubrovnik and there is no doubt that hiring this company should be a no brainer. My mom and me had our own private tour with our guide, Milo, who was an absolute blast. He was knowledgeable, down to earth, a great storyteller and an even better picture taker:) Milo spent about 3 hours with us taking us to different caves where we were just in awe of the scenery and the serenity that we found on the water outside the old town. They are so knowledgeable of the tides, the winds and they know all of the secret spots that aren't visited by most Kayak tours. They only allow up to 6 people in their groups so it's a truly personal experience. I would recommend them over and over again and hope to go on another adventure with them again soon.
Do this tour it rocks!! My friend & I absolutely loved this experience! Milo was so chill, easy to talk to & fun to hang out with. He took us to so many great spots we never would have found on our own. The cliff jumping was terrifying but so fun, highly recommend!! The kayaking is a bit of a workout, but it’s totally doable & you can go at your own pace. Plus it makes the wine & snack at the end even more rewarding :) Milo took lots of pics of us throughout the trip, which is nice so you don’t have to worry about handling your own phone on the water. At the end, Mislav, our driver, and Milo gave us lots of recommendations on bars & restaurants to visit while we’re in town, which is always appreciated! We’ve been traveling around Europe for almost 2 months and this has been one of our favorite experiences so far.
Individual and unforgettable tour!!! Very personal service. The guides, especially Damir and Milo are very nice and qualified even for personal requirements such as individual changes of the tour. During the trip they always have a feeling when to stay in the background and when to offer support/help or explain everything about Dubrovnik's history, the landscape and the islands. I can recommend the tour very much and would book the company again. Thus, we also booked the private speed boat tour which was also one of the best experiences during our stay in Dubrovnik (offering nice drinks and music during the entite trip and doing a reserveration for the clients on Lopuds best restaurant!). Moreover, the guides are starting a reverse tour compared to competitiors in the city to avoid overcrowed places by tourists and consider individual physically condition. To sum up, book via this company, since they are not instructed by the guides in the historical center.

Strongly recommending to discover Dubrovnik from sea. Wonderful way to spend a day in unique sightseeing on unusual way. This tour gave to me another look on a city, look from seaside. Everything looked different. With excellent tourquide Milo everything we saw we could feel it through the colorful stories and legends. It was like you are resident of Dubrovnik.

Generous attentive guide This turned out to be one of the best activities we did in Dubrovnik, our guide, milo was amazing and told us lots of authentic stories about growing up in dubrovnik, we had a brill 3 course meal with local produce of authentic croatian dishes. The kayaks had great seats to hold you in a good posture throughout the trip which differs from many other kayaking tours which use very basic kayaks. Milo also took photos of us on the trip and sent them to us afterwards which was amazing. Milo was attentive to our needs and set a great pace for the trip, we were given choices on what to do and paid attention to the best pace to go and preferences of the group, we were in a small group which made this trip so special and we couldn't believe how much care he took sorting out our transportation despite the traffic at the time taking great care to get us back to our accomodation ad soon as possible and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble.
Great Operation! Amazing experience and great operation! Company arranged transportation to and from the beach from our AirBNB. Driver was very friendly. Antonio was our tour guide and met us promptly on time at the beach. Took us on an excursion around lokrum island, and shared stories of the history of the island and the city of dubrovnik. We visited several caves and had time to swim, then returned to St. Jacobs beach for some snacks/ drink (choice of wine/ beer/ etc.) at the local beach restaurant. 10/10 recommend and would definitely do it again!
Amazing We went as a group of 4 last Saturday with Antonio, the experience was one of the highlights of our trip and we had been island hopping round Croatia for the prior 7 days. It was a small group and he treated us as friends, chatting to us about local history and about our lives afterwards over food. He took us snorkelling and up to caves where we could jump in. Could not recommend enough!
Best tour and great tour guide This tour was absolutely amazing and one of the best things we did in Dubrovnik. Our tour guide called Antonio was super friendly, showed us all the best cliff jumping spots and gave us all the history about the city. The group was small and felt pretty private and we finished off with some food and wine on the beach. Couldn’t fault it! Thanks a lot.
Kayak in the adriatic ocean Milo is the best tour guide we could ever asked for. He made our day a wonderful experience telling us stories about Dubrovnik while we were on the kayaks in a beautiful place. At the end of the adventure you finish drinking wine with a view of the sunset in the old city. Thank you very much Milo! I enjoyed a lot !
Very pleasurable kayak trip We are not kayakers but Milo was patient with our lack of ability which we conquered the technique. The trip around the island was timed prior to other bigger companies swarming the areas. We had them to ourselves. Which was done purposely through Milo’s management.
Best kayak option in Dubrovnik These guys are the only ones doing smaller groups for a very high quality experience. This is your best option in Dubrovnik if you want to do a kayak tour. Since you’re in a smaller group, maximum of like 4 boats, you will get to the caves before the really big tours arrive and get to spend more time there and have the spots to yourself. They have amazing guides, including Antonio who is super entertaining and also an acrobatic athlete. Wait till he does it a cliff jump flip for you! Also the included food and wine is really excellent, at a great beachside restaurant. They are at Saint Jacobs Beach, about 10 minute ride from the old city, but it’s one of the nicest beaches in the greater area, so it’s a fun place to visit in general. And they include the taxi ride with the package, which is a great deal. These guys are veterans of the local kayaking industry, and they wanted to give a higher quality experience than the really big groups that most of the other outfits are doing most of the time, yet they have also managed to keep the price very competitive. 110% recommend!
Incredible kayaking experience in Dubrovnik We had a great time kayaking around Dubrovnik with our guide Milo. We stopped at a local cave on the island just off of the city, boated around the old town walls, and finished with a beautiful sunset dinner at the St. John’s beach. The entire time Milo was peppering us with interesting historical facts about this very old part of the world.
5 points is not enough, this kayaking trip deserves 10/10 ! This is the number one, essential, “must do” trip when you get to Dubrovnik. Milo is a fantastic guide who was able to tell us all the interesting stories of Dubrovnik and Lokram Island. The kayaking over to the island was exhilarating and having the chance to snorkel by the cave was very special. During the trip Milo took loads of “action shots” of us kayaking which he shared with us at lunch. After we kayaked back to St. James’ beach is was great to share a snack and a beer with Milo and the rest of the group. We were then collected and dropped back at our hotel. (BTW we were a family of 4 including two “boys” aged 18 and 20).
A must do in Dubrovnik!!! Very chilled vibe! Milo was an amazing tour guide and was very knowledgable about the history of his city. Well-organized and personalized tour. Highly recommend! The kayaking tour was well-organized! Highly recommend. In the beginning, I was picked up by the taxi to the beach ( taxi fee included in the price). Milo was already in the beach waiting for me. It was an unforgettable experience! The water was crystal clear and I could see the fish swimming! Even though I couldn’t swim, I felt safe throughout the kayaking tour and Milo took care of me well. Big thank to Milo, a patient, nice and considerate coach. He shared with Dubrovnik history and interesting stories during the tour. Moreover, I was the only guest on that day and it was totally unique and personalized tour. Really appreciated it as they didn’t cancel the tour. Lastly, we ended the tour by having lunch by the beach. A bottle of beer after kayaking is the best thing!!!I would definitely recommend everyone(including who can’t swim) to join the kayaking tour! If I would comeback Dubrovnik, I would definitely join the tour again!
Highlight of our time in Croatia In three simple words - just book it! Kayaking and was the highlights of our time in Croatia. We picked this kayaking trip since unlike other groups, this was truly a small group trip, the experience seemed unique and communication was great. There were some hiccups due to unavoidable situation (unexpected bad weather and bus accident on the road) but they made sure that we were safe and well taken care of. Not just that, they went out of their way to make up for our lost time by offering us to take on a private tour to the caves the next day at a discounted price. This was above and beyond our expectations. We went on the boat excursion and so glad that we did it! We went at the pace that was right for us, leant interesting facts about Dubrovnik and Croatia, and they also took great pics of us! We whole heartedly recommend this to anyone visiting Dubrovnik area.
A wonderful evening We had a great time on a 3 hour afternoon Kayak tour with Milo yesterday. We were lucky that we were the only ones on the tour which made the whole experience even better. When we arrived at the blue cave we were the only ones there! Milo was great throughout, very friendly and knowledgeable. We kayaked around Lokrum and stopped for a swim and snorkel at the blue cave. The evening was finished with some beers at the beach bar and a delicious octopus salad (which was on our list to try while in Dubrovnik). We watched the sunset while enjoying a beer with Milo. The price also included collection from our hotel which was very helpful as we were staying a way out of old town. Overall, I would highly recommend this trip and thanks to Milo for being a great host!

Best kayak with sunset experience We decided to visit Plaža Sveti Jakov and we saw the kayak activities they were doing. We decided to take a kayak for the sunset and it was one of the best experiences in Dubrovnik! Such nice team :) Also, the guys from the restaurant were soo nice and the food was amazing!

Amazing kayak day We were eating at the restaurant at the beach and asked the workers recommendations on where to do kayak, in that beach they do it. The responsible for the activity came by and explain everything super clear. They are all so nice and help us a lot throught all our questions. I highly recommend doing this kayak activity and also enjoy the sunset while eating a yummy dinner and wine tasting.

Fun kayaking adventure! My teenage daughter and I had a great time on a sea kayaking tour led by Marko. He was a very knowledgeable guide with special expertise in Lokrum island. Although we did not need it, he would have pulled us in our kayak if we had become too tired. This kayaking excursion is a great way to see Dubrovnik from the sea and the sea itself is beautiful.
Sunset kayak tour a must My family of 6 adults went on the sunset kayak tour around Lokrum Island while visiting Dubrovnik in Sept 2019. It was by far the most fun we had together paddling on the Adriatic Sea late afternoon into caves, & around Lokrum Island. Our guides were very attentive at keeping us all together and safe in the open water. It was a beautiful experience, enjoyed a nice bit of food and were able to snorkel, rock climb and swim too. We paddled out into the sea while the sun was setting and it was a breathtaking view! Post tour we enjoyed wine with our guides along the water, it was beautiful.
