Team of Kopun restaurant takes great pride at their efforts to bring back some of the old Croatian recipes handed down through centuries. A rich history of our country is a perfect place to search for variety in cuisine as Croatia is an amazingly diverse country despite relatively little territory it encompasses. It’s time to explore Croatian national cuisine in a new way.
From meat to seafood and vegetables, their primary mission is to tell a story of Croatian cuisine, keeping their food interesting, and having their guests leave with smiles of content on their faces.
Besides traditional scents and flavors of Croatian cuisine, be sure to try some of the specialties from the Game of Thornes lunch menu: Khaleesi’s delight, Ayra’s needle, or Cersei’s salad.
What is CAPON? (KOPUN)
CAPONS are castrated roosters, which are bred exclusively for their meat. They are highly valued delicacy in traditional cuisine all across Europe. In Croatia, they represent an almost forgotten secret of homemade cooking. Our wish is to renew the tradition of eating capon in Croatia and present some of the traditional recipes.
